Ian Shane is an author, screenwriter, and operator of I-82.com based out of Denver. He is the morning host on I-82 from 8-10 (MST) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Ian is originally from Evansville, IN. He was selected as one of seven students in the city to join the WPSR staff in 1990. He attended the University of Southern Indiana, were he became a fixture at the original I-82 (AM 820 WSWI). He hosted afternoons and mid-mornings before becoming a morning show co-host. Ian was credited as the head writer for The Adventures of Kevin and Shane for two years. While still in college, Ian became an on air personality at WGBF and WIKY in Evansville . After graduation, Ian returned to WGBF to become the station’s promotions director. He later moved to B-97 (WBWB) in Bloomington, Indiana. For two years, he was the late night voice of The Red-Eye Express.

Ian then moved on to 92.3 WTTS where he quickly became a recognizable voice. Ian was then moved to prime time and was the master of ceremonies of the WTTS Cage Match, as well as The Saturday Night House Party.

Ian moved to Minnesota in 2002 and launched his first online station 3wE in 2003. He closed down the station and became program director of the Brown College streaming radio station VBC in 2005, and was the faculty adviser for the station until 2009. In August, 2013, Ian announced that his second internet radio station, I-82.com, would launch that following January.

Ian also writes in his spare time. In 2008, he published his first novel, Radio Radio, and is a three time Script Frenzy winner (2009, 2010, 2012). He is currently working on his third feature length screenplay.
